After your samurai session, enjoy a well-earned treat. Stroll through the charming streets of Nagano’s Omotesando district, located next to Zenkoji Temple, and sample some local favorites like creamy Japanese ice cream or flaky apple pie pastries made with Nagano’s famous apples. It’s the perfect moment to relax and snap a photo of your family enjoying a delicious bite.

• Scavenger Hunt

As you explore, your guide will lead a fun, family-friendly scavenger hunt themed around Nagano’s landmarks and hidden details of the Zenkoji Temple area. It’s a lighthearted way to spark curiosity, encourage teamwork, and discover some of the city’s more playful corners—all at your own pace.

Pick-up: Your guide will meet you at Niomon Gate - Zenkoji Temple Area - and lead you to the first activity location.
